Brent enjoyed many a lazy summer afternoon swimming and lounging with his favorite book at Slough Pond. It’s a hidden jewel in Brewster. Very small beach, mostly grass, and right off a main road. But it’s tucked away from most passers-by, and the water is some of the cleanest on the cape. Swim or kayak to the middle and soak in a deep sense of peace.
